A METHOD, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR USING THE MEDIA BUFFER

A method for using the media buffer, includes: the IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) obtains an information of the media buffer memory, adds the media buffer memory information to a service request, the service request is sent to an application server via the IMS route or the forwarded client; a media server requests the media buffer memory to provide the content according to the media buffer memory information in the service request. Also two methods and the corresponding system are provided. And two media buffer devices are also provided. The media buffer can be implemented in the IMS network environment by applying this invention.
