An optical waveguide module comprising a directional coupler (101) consisting of two optical waveguides arranged in proximity to each other and having a function for multiplexing/demultiplexing waveguide light (301) of short wavelength and waveguide light (302) of long wavelength, and input/output optical waveguides (201a, 201b, 201c, 201d) connected therewith. The input/output optical waveguides (201a, 201b, 201c, 201d) and the directional coupler (101) are connected through mode filter optical waveguides (202a, 202b, 202c, 202d), respectively. The mode filter optical waveguides (202a, 202b, 202c, 202d) satisfy single mode condition for both waveguide light (301) of short wavelength and waveguide light (302) of long wavelength and has a bent structure. |
