The system comprises a base plate for the reception of microvessels that are determined for the reception of test substances. The vessel wall is made of transparent materials and the interior wall comprises a transparent hydrophobic lining, which is formed from an inserts taking out from the microvessels. The lining is formed through a modification of the surface of the interior side of the vessel wall. The interior sides of the vessel wall are modified through vaporizing, coating or chemically modified. The microvessels comprise a cylindrical form, are lidded and are small glass tubes. An independent claim is included for a method for carrying out microcrystallisation experiment.
