TECHNIQUE FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF GIANT LYMPHEDEMA IN LOWER LIMB

The technique for the surgical treatment of the giant lymphedema in the lower limb comprises the resection of the fibrously altered tissues followed by the autodermoplasty. First, the resection of the fibrously altered tissues is performed, the draining tubes are installed supra- and subfascially with their distal ends being free. The wound defect is covered by the artificial coating. Then the linear dermolipofascioectomy is performed in the hip. The removed flap of the skin is used for the autodermoplasty in the shin.
