The cap (6) is for the displacement of excess gingiva parts in the head area (1) of enossal tooth implants. It comprises an elongated tubelet with a notch and opposing snap lip. The snap lip (6a) is engaged over the implant head (2), thus securely fixing the tubelet. After a few minutes, the tooth flesh, under the effect of pressure alterations in the tissue, is drawn backwards. The cap can then be withdrawn and the impression taken. The cap can be re-used.
