PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rumble in an electroluminescent(EL) light emitting element to be used as a back light and to thin the thickness of a liquid crystal display(LCD) device. SOLUTION: In the LCD device including a transmission type or semitransmission type liquid crystal panel 10 and a back light arranged on the rear side of the panel 10, constituting the back light of an EL light emitting layer 1 and EL light emitting elements arranged on both the surfaces of the layer 1 and provided with a front electrode 2 and a rear electrode 3 to which AC voltage is applied from an AC power supply and loading the panel 10 and the EL light emitting elements on a printed board 20 through an electric insulating layer 6, an all-over coated type copper foil pattern 22 is formed on a surface opposed to the EL light emitting elements of the board 2 electrically connected to the electrode 2 so as to impress in-phase AC voltage. |
