An AD providing system and a method are provided to analyze the concern of a messenger user according to the conversation content of the messenger user and provides advertisement according to the analysis contents. An AD providing system comprises: a keyword extraction module(112) for extracting a keyword from the content of conversation with a messenger of a user transmitted and received through the messenger client; a category key word extraction module(114) for extracting a category key word corresponding to the keyword inquiring to the database part; an operating module(116) for adding to the category rank score of the category in which the category key word belongs, and storing in the database part; a category extraction module(120) for extracting the category in which the category rank score is the highest; and an advertisement-information extraction module(122) for extracting the advertisement-information corresponding to the extracted category. |
