USING THE BASALT TUFAS OF THE BERESTOVETS DEPOSIT FOR RAISING THE CATTLE PRODUCTIVITY

The use of the basalt tufas of the Berestovets deposit for raising the cattle productivity relates to animal farming, in particular rearing of vertebrates. The tufas comprise macro- and micronutrients necessary for balancing rations of agricultural animals. Feeding the ground basalt tufas in the composition of combined feeds or in a mixture of concentrates in an amount of 100-165 g per head per day raises the productivity of the animals by 11-14.8% and lowers the feed consumption and cost of the production.
