Milling apparatus and method for obtaining a milled hole

The apparatus has a support on which are mounted in rotary manner about in each case a cutting wheel rotation axis. Two cutting wheels and a cutting wheel drive mechanism provide the rotary driving of the cutting wheels on the support. A drive mechanism is provided for the rotary driving of the support together with the cutting wheel about a support rotation axis and directed roughly parallel to the sinking direction (T). A pivot device is provided for pivoting movement of the cutting wheels such that it is upwardly pivotable on the support. The support is located on a tube linkage. An independent claim is included for method for obtaining a milled hole.
