The arrangement has a fold-down seat to increase the size of the boot, and a cover for a gap created when the seat is moved. The cover (11) is fastened to a holder unit (12), which is moveable in longitudinal direction of the vehicle and parallel to the floor (4) of the boot. The holder unit moves on rails (6) and is adjusted together with the seat (2). The seat is moved via two pair of rails (6) on the vehicle floor (5), each pair with a top rail (7), which is connected to seat and holder unit.
