METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING ABNORMALITIES OF TEETH AND JAWS

The method for diagnosing the abnormalities of the teeth and the jaws comprises X-ray examination using the computed spiral tomography. The scanning is performed serially from the base of the skull to the chin with the intervals within 2.0-3.0 mm range. The scans are then processed in computer equipped with the software allowing for processing of the photo images. The scans are edited and numbered. The scanned images are subjected to stereotopometric measurements. Three-dimensional model of the anatomically isolated structure is obtained employing 3D Studio max 3.1 software.
