The method involves using an inclinometer (13) fixed in the end of a drilling rod (3). During drilling, the orientation of a horizontal reference axis of the inclinometer is transferred to the upper end of the drilling rod. The drilling rod stops after a desired depth and is rotated to a reference direction. Whilst the rod is being withdrawn, the inclination angle and direction of the inclinometer are measured over the depth of the hole. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for measuring a bore hole. |
