A game system and a game method in which an existing member induces the game participation of a new member are provided to offer predetermined compensation to the existing member if the existing member helps the new member to enjoy a game for oneself, thereby providing a game service to the new member for inducing the new member to play the game. A user connects to the home page of a game web server through wire/wireless networks by using a user terminal(2). A user group subscription unit(41) processes the group joining application of the user. A tutor selection guide unit(42) guides the selection of a tutor to the user. A tutor selection reception unit(43) designates a specific existing member which the user selects as the tutor. A game event decision unit(44) determines whether the game event of the user comes under the standard of compensation. If the game event of the user complies with for the standard of compensation, a compensation offer unit(45) provides compensation for a game to a corresponding trainee and tutor. A game server(4) determines whether the game event satisfying the predetermined standard of compensation is generated in the process that a new member plays the game by receiving a help of the existing member designated as the tutor.
