A point of sale managing method having a sale period management function and a system therefor are provided to realize various expiration period barcodes according to a product, thereby completely managing the sales period according to a product. A headquarter managing system places a manufacturing order to a manufacturer based on sale information of each store(S100). If the product is an expiration management product, an integral barcode including an expiration barcode and an existing PLU barcode is attached to the product and the product is delivered to a logistics center(S110).
