A rice processing method is provided to enhance the taste of rice and impart various nutritive elements to rice by coating polished rice with rice bran oil. A rice processing method comprises the steps of: (i) collecting illite and chlorite; (ii) crushing the collected minerals into coarse particles, remove impurities, putting the mineral particles into a drying furnace, and heating at 500~700°C to completely dry the mineral particles; (iii) pulverizing the dried mineral particles, and filtering mineral powder with a sieve(200mesh or above) to obtain fine mineral powder; (iv) putting 94~96wt% of hulled rice, 3~4wt% of illite powder, and 1~2wt% of chlorite powder into a mixer, and uniformly mixing to coat the hulled rice with the illite powder and the chlorite powder; (v) storing the illite/chlorite powder-coated hulled rice for at least 24hr; (vi) polishing the hulled rice to make polished rice having a polishing rate of 92%; (vii) putting rice bran oil and the polished rice in a weight ratio of 1:400 into a mixer, and uniformly mixing to coat the polished rice with the rice bran oil; and (viii) vacuum-packing the rice bran oil-coated polished rice. |
