SYSTEM FOR ADAPTIVE FREQUENCY HOPPING IN BLUETOOTH AND METHOD THEREOF

An adaptive hopping system of a Bluetooth frequency and a method thereof are provided to consider whether to use an available frequency band by predicting the traffic amount of a wireless LAN. Based on the current traffic amount of a wireless LAN, a predicted amount calculating unit(41) predicts the future amount of the traffic. The predicted amount calculating unit comprises a prediction target vector generating unit(411) and a weighted value giving unit(412). If the predicted amount is smaller than the predetermined reference amount, a Bluetooth frequency hopping unit(42) adaptively hops a Bluetooth frequency. Therefore, the Bluetooth traffic is transmitted and received through an available frequency band of the wireless LAN traffic.
