PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external medical composition for hair growth inhibition which is high in the hair growth inhibition effect and giving a moistening feeling and smoothness to skin. SOLUTION: This external medical composition for hair growth inhibition contains at least a plant extract selected from the group consisting of cork tree bark, Coptis japonica, Serenoa repens, Hypericum erectum, Impatients balsamina, and Lagerstroemia speciosa, as an effective component, and, for example, a surfactant, a humectant, an antiseptic, and water are arbitrarily compounded to it, and prepared in an arbitrary form such as lotion, cream, emulsion, gel, aerosol foam, etc., and it may contain an oxidizer as an auxiliary agent.
