METHOD FOR DETERMINING CONTENT OF THALLIUM IN AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT BY VOLTAGE-CURRENT CHARACTERISTICS

The proposed method for determining content of thallium in aquatic environment by voltage-current characteristics consists in treating the water with manganese sulfate in the presence of potassium persulfate in acid medium, providing the sedimentation, treating the sediment with sulfuric hydrazine solution, and determining the content of thallium by the voltage-current characteristic of the solution. The present invention provides a possibility to selectively determine the minimal limit content of thallium of 0.01 ?/l.
