The proposed thin-film solar cell contains a transparent substrate made of organic dielectric material, metallic strips on the substrate, a layer of semiconductor material with p-type conductivity, a layer of semiconductor material with n-type conductivity, and a layer of semiconductor material withn+-type conductivity. The proposed solar cell is distinctive by its improved performance, increased efficiency, reliability, and service life.
