The invention relates to an incremental drive, in particular for an indicator instrument (1) of a motor vehicle, said instrument comprising a rotatable shaft (4, 5) and an indicator (6, 7) that is located on the rotatable shaft (4, 5). The latter (4, 5) is connected to a plate drive (2), which has a profiled plate (9) that is provided with an exterior profile and a follower element (10) that is provided with an interior profile and surrounds the profiled plate (9). Said element can be displaced in the x- and y-directions with displacement components that run transversally to the rotatable shaft (4, 5) and the interior profile of the follower element (10) can engage with the exterior profile of the profiled plate (9). The profiled plate (9) together with the rotatable shaft (4,5) can be driven by the displacement of the follower element (10). |
