<p>The present invention refers to a method for producing a sports article comprising a body (2) having an essentially two-dimensional shape, and at least a covering member (6) adapted to be positioned upon at least a portion of said body (2); a filler member (5) may possibly be placed between the body (2) and the covering member (6). The sports article (1) further includes mounting means for fastening means provided to fasten a sports footwear thereto, such mounting means comprising at least one pair of inserts (7a, 7b; 8a, 8b) provided in a parallel arrangement along at least a portion of the body (2). The method comprises the steps of:
- incorporating at least one pair of inserts (7a, 7b; 8a, 8b) inside the covering member (6) or the filler member (5);
- firmly joining the covering member (6) and the possible filler member (5 to the body (2);
- providing respective guide grooves (9a, 9b) in each insert of said at least one pair of inserts (7a, 7b; 8a, 8b) adapted for slidably mounting the fastening means.</p> |
