This invention relates to the branch of thermal processing in super-high frequency (SHF) fields of bulk dielectric materials and can be used in pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, in particular at drying powder-like iodides of alkali metals used at monocrystal growing. The appliance for drying dielectric materials has the chamber of resonator, this is made of two truncated cones with different height and cylindrical section connecting those to each other by the larger bases, and appliance for air blow-through. The resonator is multi-pass one; the ratio of the heights of the larger in height truncated cone, the cylindrical section and the lower in height truncated cone of the chamber of the resonator is 2.1:0.5. The larger in height truncated cone is by the flange of the mouth connected through the vacuum-sealed flange to the waveguide inlet of SHF energy. The chamber is installed with possibility of rotation by means of unit for rotation, and with possibility of vertical displacement due to its fixation on the stands with bended sections, those form angle 15-20 DEGREE with the horizontal base of the unit, same to the axis of the waveguide inlet. At the side of the bottom of the chamber in its axis dielectric branch pipe is installed for pump-out of the volume of the chamber. The unit for air blow-through is placed in coaxial position with respect to the branch pipe outside of the chamber, connected to it without possibility of split and is connected to the unit for the chamber rotation. Inside the chamber in its generatrix there are placed the ribs in height, where - wavelength of the SHF radiation. Technical result is in uniform and more complete (90-95%) absorption of the SHF energy by raw material, this provides uniform drying and excludes local overheating, and increase of efficiency of the unit with respective decrease of power consumption.
