<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a modular conical femoral stem with multistep, which improves stability and convenience in operation and has excellent fixing capability to the hip joint to prevent the shortening or lengthening of legs after operation. CONSTITUTION: The femoral stem inserted into the hip joint at one side and coupled with an artificial bone head at the other side comprises: a lower stem(11) having a plurality of radially protruded fixing members(12), and formed in a tapered shape having gradually reduced sections downwardly, wherein a fixing protrusion(13) is formed in a certain interval; an insertion groove disposed inside of the lower stem(11) and having a helical curve at the center; a hollow member forced to be inserted into the top of the insertion groove; and an upper stem(16) forced to be inserted to the hollow member at one side and coupled with an inner head of the artificial bone head at the other side.</p> |
