<p>An item of industrial protective wear e.g. a waist belt (42) is integrated within a jacket (1) and supports trousers. The belt has a buckle (52) fitting with a ring and pin. The jacket has an upright slit in the abdominal region left and right of the buckle, through which the belt emerges from inside the jacket to the outer abdominal region where the buckle is secured. The belt incorporates an upholstered zone that attaches to the jacket at two points (33, 43). Each of the belt fittings is located under a protective sheath which is in turn located within a strengthened part of the jacket.</p> |
