<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight tubular material that is free from speck and unevenness and homogeneous and has a stable lustrous appearance and excellent durability without being influenced by particle sizes and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The tubular material 1 comprises a member body 2, a substrate layer 4 formed on an outer surface of the body, a pattern layer 6 formed on an outer surface of the layer, and a transparent or translucent protective layer 8 formed on an outer surface of the pattern layer. The pattern layer is constituted of a resin having a plurality of large particles 10 each having a size (profile) of 30μm or larger and a brilliancy, and a plurality of small particles 12 each having a size (profile) of 30μm or smaller and a brilliancy are dispersed on the surface of the large particles and among the particles. The large and small particles are arranged in the pattern layer in plane by densely gathering the particles so that lights incident to the pattern layer are reflected in a specific direction with regularity.</p> |
