TECHNIQUE FOR DILATING ODDI'S SPHINCTER

摘要

The technique for dilating Oddi's sphincter comprises insertion of the balloon catheter into the lumen of the sphincter followed by filling the balloon with the liquid. The balloon catheter is inserted into the sphincter through the draining tube having been inserted intraoperatively to the common bile duct. The balloon is filled with the X-ray opaque liquid under X-ray TV control. The dilation ofOddi's sphincter is performed intraoperatively. Postoperatively, the dilation is performed once again.
