Fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines with a valve-holding body (1), in which a piston-shaped valve member (12) is arranged, which can be moved axially against the force of at least one closing spring (27,28) and, over part of its length, is guided in a hole (21) and which, at its combustion-chamber end, controls the opening of at least one injection passage (19), and with a spring space (30), which accommodates the at least one closing spring (27,28) and is formed in the valve-holding body (1) further away from the combustion chamber than the guided portion of the valve member (12). The valve member (12) being acted upon by the at least one closing spring (27,28), which is in each case supported at the opposite end from the combustion chamber by a piston-shaped adjusting stud (31,32), and with a pressure shoulder (10), which is formed on the valve member (12). At least one adjusting hole (52), which is formed as a through-hole in the wall of the spring space (30) and through which an adjusting tool (49) that can be used to adjust the axial position of the adjusting stud (31,32) can be introduced. The method for the production of a fuel injection valve, in which, before being fixed the adjusting studs (31,32) are adjusted by means of an adjusting tool (49) until the desired opening pressure of the valve member (12) has been achieved by means of the preloading force, obtained by displacement of the adjusting stud (31,32), of the closing spring (27,28) in contact there.
|
