The present invention refers to the use of a calorie-free sweetening mixture for food products, which comprises 49% of lactithol that is a crystalline monohydrated obtained from a milk sugar derivative alcohol; 49% of litesse that is a highly improved polydextrose; 2% of sucralose that is a sugar molecule modified with chlorine, which avoids the absorption thereof, thereby not intervening in the glucose or glycosylated haemoglobin raise. This latter characteristic is beneficial for people suffering diabetes since the mixture of the invention, known as Splenda, is calorie-free. The mixture of the abovesaid products is carried out in the ratios aforementioned by means of a mixer, the mixture being packed and subsequently used in the manufacture of food products.
