Electric tweezers (1), comprising a case part (60) for storing a motor (52), fingers (13) having one end parts fixedly connected to the case part (60) and the other end parts (13g) increasing the open and close amounts of the tips thereof according to the reciprocating translation displacement amounts thereof and releasing and holding an object, a switch (57) for rotating and stopping the motor (52), and a converting mechanism (30) stored in the case part (60), connected to the shaft (52a) of the motor (52), and converting the rotation of the motor (52) in one direction to the translation displacement amounts of the other end parts (13g) in a specified reciprocating direction.
