FIELD: agriculture, in particular, evaluation of infecting cereal crop seeds such as wheat, barley, and oats seeds with root decay pathogens, common and fusarium kinds, used in plant growing. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves germinating seeds in plastic containers filled with soil taken from presupposed sowing place; modeling occurrence and development of root decay on plant sprouts owing to infection available on seeds as well as infection available in soil, with modeling being performed by holding different containers with soil and seeds at different temperature conditions; holding seeds during time sufficient for seed germination; determining intensity of affecting sprouts with root decay pathogen; judging the necessity of treating seeds on the basis of resultant data. ^ EFFECT: increased precision in forecasting development of disease under field conditions. ^ 1 dwg |
