The device has a tubular insert that is engaged in ends of a tubular unit (7) of a sealing part (5) of a sealing joint (20), and a polyethylene or ethylene-propylene terpolymer film that is welded to the ends. An adhesive tape (22) is applied on an outer skin of the ends for maintaining the ends side by side, and is coated with a flock finish or a varnish.
