The package has an elongated rigid case (E) forming a cup that presents a plane aperture edge closed by a protective cap. The cup constitutes a channel (2) in which a rod (T1) of a tampon is disposed and a basin that is deep and broad than the channel. The basin presents a top part (3a) to which the channel extends and a bottom part (3b) constituting a tub for soaking the tampon in an antiseptic solution. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of packages fixed laterally to each other.
