FIELD: light engineering, applicable both on open sites with explosion-dangerous zones and in rooms having an explosion-dangerous atmosphere with mixtures of gases, vapors or dust. ^ SUBSTANCE: the luminaire has a casing with a flange connected to the flange of a transparent cap with the aid of a ring component and a lamp-holder with the current-conducting part fastened inside the casing. The casing is made detachable of two parts, and the flange formed on the detachable part of the casing has a circular protrusion made for embracing the side part of the flange of the transparent cap by it and connection to the ring component by fasteners.
