A marker generation apparatus comprises: a code acquisition means for acquiring N-bit (N is a natural number and greater than or equal to two) code information for superimposing the code information on a marker defined as a plurality of areas; a multiplication means multiplying each bit value of the code information acquired by the code acquisition means by an M-sequence matrix respectively; a color information calculation means calculating color information by adding up multiplication results multiplied by the multiplication means so as to perform a color arrangement in each area of the marker; and a color arrangement means performing the color arrangement in each of the marker area based on the color information calculated by the color information calculation means. The present invention provides a marker generation apparatus capable of highly and precisely recognizing code information of a marker. |
