PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine wherein both the securement of insulation and the enhancement of cooling efficiency are accomplished at its stator and high-load operation and reduction in physical size can be carried out. SOLUTION: A stator core 102 includes: multiple teeth 108 arranged at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction; multiple slots 146 and 148 formed between adjacent teeth; and electrical insulating members 10a fit in both the open ends of the slots in the axial direction. When the electrical insulating members 10a are fit in both the open ends of all the slots, coils 112 are inserted in slots adjoining astride the teeth 108. The open ends of the coils 112 are connected together by bus bars 110. With the coils 112 wound on the teeth 108, the entire stator 100a is subjected to molding process. As a result, the areas between the coils 112 and the stator core 102, except the electrical insulating members 10a, are filled with highly thermal conductive resin molding material.
