PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiving device without causing deterioration in user-friendliness by using a software control panel, when a data content is received by data broadcasting. SOLUTION: An area for displaying a data content and an area (television video image area) for displaying a video image are set at a monitor 22 by a BML (Broadcasting Markup Language) browser, and the data content and the video image are displayed, respectively. When a software control panel indicating an input position from a touch panel 23 is displayed, a CPU 14 directs the monitor to display the software control panel on the television video image area.
