PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device which can suitably prevent failure by vibration and shock at the time of transportation. SOLUTION: The camera device 1 is provided with a lens 5, a driving part 7 which carries out a tilt rotation of the lens 5, and a control part 9 which controls a rotation angle of the tilt rotation by the driving part 7. The control part 9 controls the tilt rotation of the lens 5 by a transportation mode in which the lens 5 is evacuated to the transportation position out of an operation mode range besides an operation mode in which the lens 5 is rotated in the operation mode range. In the transportation mode, a front part of the lens departs from a nearby outer face of a case and moves inside of the case, and a load of an inertial force generated by a shock, etc. at the time of transportation, becomes small.
