PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communications system for a traveling object that relaxes the congestion of a control channel. SOLUTION: The communications system for a traveling object is configured by making a base station device 2 and a mobile station device 3 communicate with each other, by using at least one control channel and a plurality of communication channels. When the mobile station device 3 and the base station device 2 are performing communication, by using at least one communication channel among the communication channels, at least one of the mobile station device 3 and the base station device 2 decides to perform communication, by using any communication channel other than the channel under communication. This base station device 2 is provided with an extended assignment instructing part 76 for instructing the transmission of link channel assignment, showing the communicatable communication channel to the mobile station device 3, by using the channel during communication. Communication is conducted, by using the communication channel, shown by the link channel assignment between the mobile station device 3 and the base station device 2 according to the link channel assignment.
