PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video doorphone system in which a visitor can be confirmed, even when a doorphone slave unit and a doorphone master unit or any doorphone sub master unit make communication with each other, by using another doorphone sub master unit or doorphone master unit. SOLUTION: When a call response SW section of any of doorphone sub master units 300, 400, and a doorphone master unit 200 is operated during communication between a doorphone slave unit 100 and the doorphone master unit 200 or either of doorphone sub master units 300, 400, a display section of the other of the doorphone sub master units 300, 400 or the doorphone master unit 200 whose call response SW section is operated displays a video image photographed by a camera section 101 of the doorphone slave unit 100 and a loudspeaker section outputs a voice picked up by a microphone section 103 of the doorphone slave unit 100.
