PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-part attachment type display device with which an observer can visually recognize an image and a front scene by superimposing them without requiring large work load. SOLUTION: In the head-part attachment type display device, luminous flux for image display which is emitted from a display 2 is led to a combiner 3 with an optical system 4, and the luminous flux for image display whose optical path is changed by the combiner 3 and luminous flux passing through the combiner 3 are led to eyes of an observer who puts on a head-part attachment body 5 holding the display 2, the combiner 3 and the optical system 4. Moreover, in the display device, the image is formed in front of an observer's line of sight by controlling a driving device 4" which drives the optical system 4 so that the optical path of the luminous flux for image display is changed according to the direction of the observer's line of sight with respect to the head part of the observer which is detected by an observer's line of sight sensor 10.
