PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cascade pump dispensing with a shaft seal structure causing many problems. SOLUTION: The cascade pump of the invention has a rotor 18 in a compartment 10 of an enclosed space and uses a brushless canned motor having a stator 7 outside the compartment 10. An impeller 9 and a passage part 21 of a cascade pump section 22 are arranged in the compartment 10 of the motor 2 and the compartment 10 (can) of the motor 2 serves as a shaft seal part of the cascade pump section 22 as it is.
