PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly change the displacement stroke of a follower and the timing of displacing the follower in a cam device in which the follower of an engine is displaced by a rotation cam. SOLUTION: The cam device 1 displaces a valve 3 of the engine by the rotation cam 7, and comprises a stroke changing means 17 capable of changing the displacement stroke of the valve 3 and a timing changing means 15 capable of changing the timing of displacing the valve 3. The displacement stroke of the valve 3 and the timing of displacing the valve 3 can be changed by the displacement stroke changing means 17 and the timing changing means 15 for every cycle of the engine.
