PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional gasket in which the end face of a through hole is completely covered with an insulation material and which has suitability as a gasket. SOLUTION: The multifunctional gasket 1 is interposed between two objects 5, 6 including sealed vacant parts 5a, 5b to seal the vacant parts 5a, 5b and functions to take out electric information of the vacant part 5a requiring state information of the inside. A conductive metal substrate 11 in which the through holes corresponding to the vacant parts 5a, 5b are previously punched is coated with an insulating coating film 12 made of a mixture of a polyamide-imide resin and a polytetrafluoroethylene resin. The end face 11a of the through hole in the conductive metal substrate corresponding to the vacant parts 5b other than the vacant part 5a requiring the state information of the inside is coated with the insulating coating film after curved surface working is implemented in advance. The end face 11b of the through hole in the conductive metal substrate 11 corresponding to the vacant part 5a requiring the state information of the inside is not coated with the insulating coating film and is exposed to the inside of the vacant part 5a.
