PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope stabilizing method for enhancing the effect of restraining the ground by using a net. SOLUTION: In this slope stabilizing method for installing anchors 1 on a slope in a distributed manner and laying the net 2 on the slope, at an arbitrary point on the laid net 2, a wire 10 is turned into a diameter-reducible loop 10a while being slidably engaged with the net 2, and the net 2 is tightened by pulling the wire 10 and reducing the loop 10a so that a tensile force can be applied to the net. After that, an intersecting point of the loop is fixed so as to prevent the enlargement of the loop 10a of the wire 10. Since the net 2 is put into a tensioned state, a load is immediately transferred to the anchor 1 above the slope via the net 2 on the occurrence of the displacement of a clod, and a ground restraining action is exerted at the early point of the microdeformation of the clod.
