PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical method of constructing a heat insulation wall for a wooden house, which is good in workability and durability, according to the external insulation method. SOLUTION: According to the method of constructing a heat insulation wall, a structural face plate forming a wall body is stuck to a wooden framework, and strong L-shaped fittings are connected to the framework via the structural face plate. The L-shaped fittings bear the weight of a resin foam body forming a heat insulation layer and a substrate face plate covering the resin form body as an external wall substrate face plate. By virtue of provision of the L-shaped fittings, the weight of the wall body vertically applied to a foundation is reduced. On the other hand, the weight applied to the wall body in the horizontal direction with respect to the foundation, is borne by fittings such as nails or screws connecting the wall face plate, the resin foam body, and the framework.
