PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of cracks caused by liquid metal brittleness in the surface layer of a final product member by suppressing formation of a hot dip Zn alloy at the time of hot forming. SOLUTION: The surface layer of the steel sheet is provided with an Fe-Zn alloy comprising 13 to 80 mass% Fe and≤0.4 mass% Al, and the coating weight of Zn is controlled to 10 to 65 g/m<SP>2</SP>. Further, in the composition of the steel sheet, the content of Si is controlled to≤0.3%, P to≤0.02%, Ti to 0.01 to 0.5%, and Nb to 0.01 to 0.5%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
