PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing glued-laminated timber which can be subjected to water-repellent treatment simply in a short time and demonstrate excellent water repellency when subjected to any mechanical processing. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the glued-laminated wood from water-repellent wood veneers, at least the wood veneers are degreased, a water repellent with a viscosity of 30 cSt or below is applied from one side surfaces of the degreased veneers to permeate the veneers to obtain water-repellent veneers, which are laminated, compacted, and bonded.
