Die casting alloy contains (in wt.%) 2.7-4.3 aluminum, 0.05-0.50 zinc, 0.30-0.60 manganese and a balance of magnesium and impurities. The content of manganese is always more than the content of zinc. The content of the impurities is 50-400 ppm iron and copper.
