<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system using a portable terminal for preventing unauthorized use, by a copied authentication code and facilitating authentication management. <P>SOLUTION: In this authentication management system, the portable terminal 10 displays the authentication code acquired from an authentication managing server 20 along with a display time and a phone number, and an authentication device 30 reads the authentication code, performs authentication if a reading time is within a valid time from the display time, and dials the phone number when authentication is allowed for confirming personal identification.
