<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical loop-back connector that is low in optical loss and small in size. <P>SOLUTION: The optical loop-back connector 100 is equipped with a two-line connector 1 containing a first and a second ferrule 11, 12 and an optical fiber 20 with one end inserted into the first ferrule 11 and the other end into the second ferrule 12. The relative refractive index differenceΔof the core and the clad of the optical fiber 20 is 1-3%, while the mode field diameter of the optical fiber 20 is 3-8μm.
